Updates to Financial Management Module for California Customers

Since launching Cut Time, we have heard from many California teachers who have wanted to utilize our software but have been unable to based on the terminology we had in place surrounding the Financials module. We understand educational activities in California must be provided without cost to students. We asked teachers how they currently handle the California state ruling regarding educational activities conducted by public school districts and received some pretty consistent responses.

In the past, we have used the term “obligation” when referring to any type of financial requirement within Cut Time. We are happy to announce we have changed that. If your account is set up with an address and zip code in the State of California the term “obligation” has been changed to “pledge,” allowing much more flexibility in utilizing the Financials module of Cut Time.

Are you searching for a solution to help keep your program organized and communicate with your students and their parents? Give Cut Time a try.
