The day has arrived! Fundraising can be tracked in Cut Time!

Every fundraising campaign tells a story. Here at Cut Time, we’ve heard your stories, listened to your requests, and worked to understand your needs.

Today, we are proud to unveil the Fundraising module, a new tool with the flexibility to accommodate diverse campaign types and the power to calculate multiple distribution styles.

This first release only exists for administrators. But, the future will see connections and functions accessible to parents and students.

Without further delay… It’s our turn to do the storytelling! The three examples to follow represent the fundamental pillars of the tool told in the language of day-to-day examples.

Quantity Based Fundraiser

To offset the cost of next year’s big trip to Happy Fun World, the members of the Zingali Institute Marching Band are selling discount cards for $30 a piece.

The cost to the band is $5/card. Students get $10/card added to their ledger and the remaining $15 goes to the organization’s general fund. Woah! That’s a lot of math.

George Dinkle, treasurer of the booster organization, creates a quantity-based fundraiser. This gives George the ability and flexibility to add more detail about the cost and sale price of the discount card and the amount to be distributed to members.

Equal Distribution Fundraiser

James Welsh Middle School’s Vibrant Voices Show Choir is hosting a car wash this weekend and wants to Buff your Buick, Shammy your Chevy, and Dry your Dodge on the way to raising money to help pay for a new section of choral risers needed to hold the ever-growing, crowd favorite group.

Erika Whitacre, director of the VVSC, offered an incentive to her students. Anyone volunteering time to help wash cars will receive a $10 stipend added to their account.

Easy peasy! The basic fundraiser has an easy option wherein members earn equal amounts. So ten bucks goes to each car washer and the remainder is calculated automatically!
